 Situated close to the capital city of Colombo; just about one hour’s drive, on the banks of the famed Bolgoda Lake and low wetland mangroves, it is a nature lover’s paradise.
Bolgoda Lake, spread over 400 sq.km is one of the largest freshwater Lakes in Sri Lanka. During the Dutch Period (1 657-1796 AD), Bolgoda Lake was extensively used by the Dutch to ferry people and goods from the upper stream of Kalu Ganga, particularly, from Ratnapura District. The lake was utilized as a very popular mode of transport for timber from Sinharaja Forest areas, by log crafts.
The rich bio diversity of the Lake provides home to varieties of Aquatic and semi Aquatic plants, 45 species of Fish, 40 species of Reptiles, 16 species of amphibians, 97 species of Avian and 31 species of Mammals representing approximately 1/3 of the total fauna of the Island and 1/10 of Endemics. This is also a paradise for water sports. The Sports fishing is one of the major activities followed by boating, wind-surfing, water skiing, sailing, speed boating and rowing.
Being so close to the city, yet well away from the noise, dust and fumes of the city, the serene environment affords the visitor with the setting for perfect harmony with nature. Absolutely quiet, disturbed only by the sounds of nature, this is a place to relax and just recuperate from the stress of modern day living. The undisturbed setting permeates tranquility and really reinvigorates the visitor with the feeling that just lying idle itself is such a peaceful experience.

Deluxe Tower Lodges:- Situated in the Apex-floors of the twin-Towers (resembling a light house). They boast of well-lit and compact sitting areas, spacious bedrooms, and Open – Terrace rendering an aroma of fresh-air. They provide a magnificent and spectacular view of Bolgoda Lake, and its rich natural surroundings. Facilities Include Air Conditioning and attached bathroom.
Superior Tower Lodges:- Situated just below the Deluxe Eco Lodges of the twin-towers, they are facilitated by well-lit and compact sitting areas, spacious bed rooms, co-sharing open terrace providing a clear view of Bolgoda lake and its rich natural surroundings. Facilities Include air conditioning, fan and attached bathroom.
Tents: - Camping on tents is available with bedding such as ; Blanket, Bed Sheets, Pillows, etc. Common toilets and washroom is available - 4 units for gentlemen & 4 units for ladies.
Entertainment :- Live-Band / Animation-Show / Magic Show/Cultural show (music & dancing) (On Request) can be arranged with BBQ, Camp-Fire and floating Dining Tables by the Lagoon. Special Family BBQ’s can be organized with prior arrangements and bookings.
